AHS is a major public health system and medical training institution headquartered in Oakland, CA. AHS is driven by its mission - Caring, Teaching, Healing, Serving All. The anchor facility, Highland Hospital, houses a regional trauma center, conducts medical and clinical teaching, and delivers primary, specialty, and multi-specialty care. In April of 2016, Highland opened a new 9-story, state-of-the-art Acute Care Tower with all private L&D suites.
We’re looking for an open-minded Chair for the OB/GYN Department. As Chair, you will collaborate to establish and execute a vision for policies, standards, programs and care delivery across the system, including the 3 acute hospital affiliates and 4 community wellness centers.
The Chair will provide clinical services at least one day per week, as well as oversee residency and medical student programs.
